During Halloween, The Lucky Nugget Saloon transforms into The Unlucky Nugget Saloon, a place whose dark history is deeply tied to the mysteries of Phantom Manor.

It all begins with Melanie Ravenswood, the daughter of one of Thunder Mesa's most powerful families. She was about to be married, and the saloon was being prepared to host her grand wedding banquet. But something completely unexpected happened: her groom mysteriously vanished right before the celebration.

The wedding never took place, and as time passed, the saloon was swallowed by an eerie atmosphere of abandonment. Its name also changed: from Lucky Nugget—a symbol of fortune—to Unlucky Nugget, a symbol of doom.

During Halloween, withered flowers, cobwebs, haunting portraits, and eerie details inspired by Phantom Manor recreate the chilling atmosphere of that forgotten celebration. In 2026, the haunted experience has expanded to the upper floor, adding even more dark and immersive decor.

What really happened to Melanie's groom? The lore never fully reveals the mystery, and perhaps that is exactly what makes this hidden corner of Frontierland so incredibly special.

The next time you visit Disneyland Paris during Halloween, pay close attention to the details inside the saloon... You might just discover something that easily slips past at first glance.
