Nubi & Mochu's Tips

Practical tips to help you plan with confidence and enjoy more of the magic.

The Magic Traffic Light: When to Go

The Autumn Secret (September to November): The park dresses up for Halloween. You'll find shorter lines, perfect walking weather, and earlier nighttime illuminations. It's our absolute favorite time to visit!

Winter Magic (November to January): Disney at Christmas is unbeatable—a pure fairytale. Just make sure to bundle up, because the Parisian cold is no joke. If you can handle the chill, the festive atmosphere is more than worth it.

Trial by Fire (July and August): Summer is beautiful, vibrant, and the parks stay open later. However, be ready to face the heat and the crowds. If you're traveling during these months, make the tips below your ultimate survival guide.

Because a Little Planning Makes the Magic Even Better:

  • Reserve Before It's Too Late: The best themed restaurants book up months in advance. Secure your reservations early, or you'll be stuck eating fast food.

  • Don't try to see it all in one day: It's physically impossible and will only leave you frustrated. The park is meant to be savored, not rushed in a stressful sprint from line to line.

  • Don't skip the shows: Performances like Mickey and the Magician and the nighttime castle spectacular are Broadway-caliber. Make time for them!

Your Daily Essentials

📱 The App is Your Third Eye: Download it weeks before your trip. Use it to check wait times in real-time and avoid walking across the park for nothing.

👟 Footwear is King: Comfortable footwear is essential. You’ll probably walk much more than you expect, so choose shoes you already know you can wear comfortably all day.

🔋 The Survival Kit: Your backpack should always carry three lifesavers: a reusable water bottle (free fountains are everywhere), a light rain jacket, and a power bank (all those photos and the Disney app will drain your battery fast!).

Magic for Everyone

The Easiest Way to Book

Booking your tickets, hotel, and meals separately might seem like a good idea... until you start crunching numbers, comparing options, and planning every tiny detail.

Disney Packages are the easiest way to organize the bulk of your trip from the get-go, leaving you free to focus on what really matters: having fun.

What’s Included in a Disney Package?

If you stay at a Disney Hotel, your base package always includes:

🎟️ Tickets to both parks for your entire stay
Park-hop freely between Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World for the duration of your trip.

Extra Magic Time
Enjoy access to one or both Disney Parks before the official opening time, on selected dates and subject to the current schedule.

🚗 Free Parking
Complimentary parking at both your Disney Hotel and the parks—a huge money-saver if you’re driving.

🍽️ Dining Plans (Optional)

Food can be the biggest headache. Let’s keep it simple:

  • Half Board: Includes breakfast at your hotel and one meal (lunch or dinner). It’s the perfect sweet spot between convenience and the freedom to go with the flow.

  • Full Board: Includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The ultimate choice if you want to experience the best themed restaurants without dreading the bill at the end of the day.

💡 Nubi's Tip

For most families, Half Board is the way to go. You get a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, enjoy one special sit-down meal in the parks, and keep the freedom to wing it for the rest of the day.
